Mary Ann Hall June 23, 1930 - May 21, 2009 Mary Ann Hall, 78, of Woodway passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 25, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 - 4 p.m., Saturday, May 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey in the Garden Room. Mary Ann was born June 23, 1930, in Waco to Silas E. and Ollie Jim Stewman Morgan. She was an honor roll graduate of Waco High School, Class of 1948, and was recognized as a Who's Who among outstanding high school students. She attended Baylor University for two years. She met Donald O. Hall while a senior in high school in December of 1947, and they were married September 1, 1951. In 1960, with the birth of her first child, she became a full time mother and enjoyed participating fully in the lives of her children. Her home was always open to her children's friends, and she was a nurturing "mother" to all those friends. It was not uncommon for her children to come home and to find a friend already there visiting with her. This continued for years after they were grown. During the 1950s, Mary Ann was employed by Atlas Cement, with offices located in the Amicable Life Building the Alico Building now, and was a survivor of the Waco Tornado of 1953. Later she became an executive secretary for Brazos Electric Cooperative. Mary Ann has been a lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Donald, of Woodway; son, Brett Hall and wife, Kelly, of Longview, TX; daughter, Lisa Hall and her love, Mike Elliott, both of McGregor; step-grandchild, Joshua Mowdy of Dallas; cousins, Margie Maxey Beach of Waco, Alma McDent of Longview, and Betty Clark of Scotsdale, AZ. The family wishes to give special thanks to the entire Elliott family of McGregor for their love and support. Memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue or the charity of your choice.
