Mary Catherine Crippen Yarbrough

YARBROUGH, MARY C. Mary Catherine Crippen Yarbrough, 80, of Waco, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2004. Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, May 11, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Steve Ramsdell officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6 – 8 pm Monday, May 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Yarbrough was born on July 24, 1923 in Waco. She attended Waco schools and graduated from Waco High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco. Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Yarbrough, in 1979. Survivors include her daughters, Kay Cherry and husband David of Waco and Jane Berryhill and husband Bob of Tulsa, Oklahoma; granddaughter Lisa Cherry Pittard and husband Kirk of Grapevine; grandson Craig Cherry and wife Tiffany of Waco; great granddaughters, MacKenzie Cherry and Camille Cherry; great grandson Wyatt Pittard; and her sister, Eloise Crippen French of Temple. All of her family will miss her smile and sweet spirit. She was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
