Mary Enright Korioth February 17, 1915 September 16, 2008 Mary Enright Korioth, a registered nurse, died September 16, 2008. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Mrs. Korioth was born in Tyler, Texas, but had been a resident of Waco since 1921. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Providence Hospital School of Nursing, and Baylor University. She worked at the Waco V.A. Medical Center for 39 years, retiring in April, 1978, as assistant chief of nursing services. After her retirement she began volunteer work through the Ladies of Charity, at the Caritas Thrift Shop. Mary was also active in volunteer work at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in Waco, of which she was a member. She was an active member of the Women's Guild at the church. She is survived by a son, Bill Korioth and wife, Diane, of Hewitt; and a grandson, Greg Korioth and his family. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Ladies of Charity or the charity of your choice.
