Kuehl, Ethel Mary Ethel Porterfield Kuehl, 97, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005 at a local nursing home. Services will be Thursday, May 19 at 10:00 AM at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Minister Tom Bedechek officiating and burial to follow. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, May 18 from 6 to 8:00 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, 6101 Bosque. Mrs. Kuehl was born on March 25, 1908 in McGregor, Texas to Rachel and James A. Porterfield. Mrs. Kuehl was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ for 72 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Kuehl on December 6, 1984. Survivors include her three children, Jean Goldsmith and husband, Larry of California, James Kuehl and wife Jo of Canyon Lake and Kenneth Kuehl and wife Eunice of Waco; brother-in-law, A. R. Kuehl and wife Rheba of Riesel; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
