Mary French April 12, 1925 January 15, 2015 Mary French, 89, of McGregor went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Charles Dixon officiating. Private family burial to follow at Waco Memorial North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home. Mary was born April 12, 1925 in Lorain, Ohio. She attended nursing school in Washington D.C. where she received her RN degree. She was the faithful wife of William Gerald French, Jr., Lt. Col. USAF, Ret., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Gregory French. She is survived by her son, William Gerald Gerry French of McGregor; two daughters, Christine E. French of Waco and Nancy Hughes of Harlingen, Texas. Mary is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and true friend.
