Mary Jane McDaniel July 25, 1919 – April 6, 2007 Mary Jane McDaniel passed away on April 6, 2007 in Waco, TX. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Mary Jane was born on July 25, 1919 in Howe, Texas. She graduated from Claude High School in 1937 and then attended Mary Hardin Baylor College. On July 14, 1940 she married Woodrow Hinson McDaniel. They moved to Waco where they lived for 46 years. She is survived by two sons, Glenn E. McDaniel and wife, Cathy of Sanger, Texas and James C. McDaniel of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Kim Paplow and husband, Jeff, Teresa Ballard of San Antonio and husband, Lee, Hinson McDaniel and wife, Christe of Murrieta, California; granddaughters, Melanie Pelton of Dallas, Texas, Julianne Schindler of Sanger, Texas, Nicole Purnell and husband, Tim of Sanger; grandson, Randy Martin and wife, Katie of Sanger; and four great grandchildren. Mom had been active in O.E.S., The Social Order of the Beauceant, Daughters of the Nile and others. She raised two sons and assisted in the raising of several other boys over the years. She was a great cook and wonderful wife and mother. Memorial donations may be made to the Sadie Davidson Cancer Fund. Sadie is 7 months old and has a rare from of cancer.
