OBITUARY FOR MARY L. TULLIS Mary L. Tullis, age 81, of Waco, died Monday, September 23, 2002 at a local nursing home. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 26, 2002 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. Ken Kesselus officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 1124 Washington. Mrs. Tullis was born December 24, 1920 in Danville, Arkansas. She moved to Waco at an early age and attended Waco schools and graduated from Waco High School. She married William C. Tullis September 17, 1939 in Waco. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was a supply supervisor at James Connally Air Force Base. She was a member of Walter Baldwin OES #929, Merak Temple, Daughters of the Nile, Elizabeth Gordon Bradley D.A.R., and a volunteer for Historic Waco. She was a docent at the Fort House, She was a member of the Alter Guild of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and other organizations. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Survivors: Daughter, Vicki Treadway and husband Robert of Flat; grand- children, Robert T. Treadway, Jr. and wife Tammie, and Laura M. Edwards and husband Kelly; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Edwards, Sean Robinette, Kathryne Robinette, and Autymn Robinette; sister, Beverly Williams of Placentia, CA.; several nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Akins, Bill Burleson, Travis Burney, Jim Jones and Bruce Barron. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or charity of choice.
