JANES, MARY LEONA Mary Leona Janes, age 70, of Waco died Thursday, July 4, 2002 at a local hospital. A memorial service will held on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 1:30 pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., with Dr. Richard Spinn officiating. Mrs. Janes was born on July 27, 1931 in Navarro County, near Barry, to James Bedford and Katie Mae Bell Parks. She was reared and educated in Barry, and had been a resident of Waco since 1959. Mrs. Janes married Robert Gregg Cairns on April 7h 1956. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1989. She married Don H. Janes on October 5, 1991. Mrs. Janes retired in 1989 from Region XII Educational Service Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband Don H. Janes of Waco; daughters Hazel Cairns Spinn and husband Rick of Waco, Suzanne Janes Miller and husband Darwin, Jr. of Waco, Jennifer Janes Canady and husband Sonny of Waco; sons J. Gregg Cairns of Waco, and Don L. Janes and wife Becky of Lorena; sister Julia Kate Holloway of Corsicana; brothers James Harris Parks and wife Bettie of Corsicana, Thomas Joe Parks, Ph.D. and wife Betty of Austin, Donald Parks and wife Carol of Waco, and Lyndon Parks and wife Patricia of Longview; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Memorials may be made to the Waco Children’s Theatre, 2000 Lenamon, Waco, TX 76710, or one’s favorite charity. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
