MOORE, MARY The sweet spirit that was May Lou McGee Moore soared into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 26, 2001. Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, November 3rd at Bethany Baptist Church, Bruceville/Eddy with Rev. Eddy Perry Johnson and Mr. G.R. Lasater officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, November 2nd at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Her faithful service to her Lord and Savior and her gentle nature influenced many lives and she will truly be missed. Although she was a life-long Texan, she left us from the home of her daughter in Oregon after a lengthy illness that prevented her return to Bruceville. She was a retired bookkeeper, having worked in banks and savings and loan associations in numerous locations. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Weldon Moore, and her cherished daughter, Sylvia Moore Phillips. Survivors include daughters: Janie Trump of Woodburn, Oregon and Rosemary Moore of Houston, grandchildren: Karen Harshfield of Waco, Kim Sandhoff of Riesel, Valerie Laiho of Spokane, Washington, Jeff Trump, Melanie Trump, Bob Trump all of Salem, Oregon, Mark Solt, Michael Solt both of Houston, Matt Solt of Huntsville, and Rhonda Crouch of Clyde, 19 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: C.O. and Geneva Moore, one cousin locally, Linda Douthit of China Spring, and a large, loving family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Members of Bethany Baptist Church and their Mary Lou Moore Sunday School Class will be the pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Mary Lou’s grandsons and great grandsons. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
