Mary Makovy

Mary Fentress Makovy, 81, entered eternal peace on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Mary was born on October 25, 1935, daughter of the late Lewis Fentress and Letha Collier. She graduated from LaVega High School and worked as an office manager for Rich Knitt, the Perry Company and AT&T Cellular One. She also served as a Regent for the Henry Downs Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Mary leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her beloved husband of 63 years, Henry Makovy; her devoted daughters, Regina Lowrance, Melissa Makovy, Elizabeth Makovy, and Brittany Cortez and husband, Stephen; and her grandchildren.
