SANDERS, MARY MARGARET SISSY Mary Margaret Sissy Sanders, age 72, of Woodway died Friday, July 18, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30pm Monday, July 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Don Long and Rev. Bill Austin officiating. Entombment will follow at Waco Memorial North Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Sunday, July 20 at the funeral home. Mrs. Sanders was born November 3, 1930 in Ingleside, Texas and raised in Hewitt. She was a member of the first graduating class of Midway High School in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart, Bill Sanders in 1950. She worked for Westview National Bank, United Bank, Bank One, and Central National. She was a charter member of Woodway First United Methodist Church, member of United Methodist Women, volunteered with Meals On Wheels, and was an active member of her monthly Keno Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Margaret McDonald and one sister, Willie Jo Adams. Survivors include husband, Bill Sanders of Woodway; daughters, Janis Parker and husband, Bill of Houston, Ronda Sanders and partner, Jim Long of Austin, Brenda Robinson and husband, Joel of Magnolia, and Stacy Namken and husband, Ronnie of Giddings; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Louella Bernhardt and husband, Herman of Bedford; brothers, Robert McDonald and wife, Johanna of Whitney and Danny McDonald and wife, Yvonne of Como, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
