Mary Ruth Duncan August 27, 1930 November 4, 2012 Mary Ruth Duncan of Waco died peacefully at her home Saturday night, November 4, 2012. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Chuck Treadwell officiating. Mary Ruth was born August 27, 1930, in Galveston, Texas, to John Patrick and Welda Mae Norris. She was a member of the Junior League of Waco, a former trustee of the Waco Independent School Board, and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Waco Humane Society and Central Texas Planned Parenthood. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm; and four children, Malcolm Jr., Sarah, Joan and John; daughters-in-law, Susan and Claire; son-in-law, Scott; granddaughters, Frances and her husband, Tripp, and Laura; great-granddaughters, Grace and Harriet; and one sister, Joan of Lufkin. Mrs. Duncan asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Waco Humane Society and Central Texas Planned Parenthood.
