Mary Viola Sutton

Mary Viola Sutton November 7, 1917 - January 6, 2016 Mary Viola Sutton of Waubun, MN, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at the home of her son. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 11, at Lorena United Methodist Church with the Rev. Matt Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Lorena Cemetery. Visitation will follow the burial at Lorena United Methodist Church. Mary was born November 7, 1917, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Clarence and Ora Martin. She lived in Lorena until two months ago and enjoyed being a homemaker, quilting, and other handwork. Mary was also a member of Lorena United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grady Matthew Sutton, and two sons, James and Easton Sutton. She is survived by three sons, Bobby and wife, Carolyn, Clinton and wife, Norika, and M.C. Sutton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and Easton’s widow, Kathryn Sutton.
