Matthew James ''Sloogie'' Sifuentez

SIFUENTEZ, MATTHEW Matthew James “Sloogie” Sifuentez, after 16 years, Mama’s gift from God was received back to the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2003. God entrusted him to us August 25, 1986. Services will be held at 10am Wednesday, January 22 at Mighty Wind Worship Center with Pastor Joe Carbahal officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7pm Tuesday, January 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave., visitation with the family will follow. Big Matt struggled in life with weakness in his body, but through his eyes and crooked little smile, God’s glory and strength were revealed. Matthew James has not passed away but has passed over to wholeness and health in the Lord. Mommy’s Boo Bear was a mystery to doctors but God was faithful and knew him. Matthew listened to Jesus and His angels and God has made everything beautiful in His time. Matthew’s loved ones include his mother, Linda Guardiola; father, Robert Sifuentez; sister, Nicole Sifuentez; niece, Sianna Sifuentez-Morales; grandparents, Virginia Gonzales, Theresa Bentura, John Guardiola, Chris Gonzales, Pete Rodriguez and Isaac and Bella Sifuentez.
