Mattie Lee Hanson January 9, 1922 - September 29, 2009 Mattie Lee Hanson of Waco passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Randy Veazy and Denise Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mattie was born January 9, 1922, in McGregor, TX, to Pascal and Ina Arnold. She worked at Piccadilly and retired after 40 years. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. She was a member of Bosqueville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, three sisters and one son. She is survived by her loving husband, Wallace; one brother, Earl Arnold; children, Mazell Stafford, Carol Evans, Homer Hawkins; and numerous other relatives and friends.
