Mattie Leta Vana March 22, 1912 - April 11, 2008 Mattie Leta Vana, 96, of Waco passed away Friday, April 11, 2008 at Providence Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room, with Pastor Ronald Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 4 to 6 p.m. in the Garden Room at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Mattie was born March 22, 1912 in Fairy, Texas to Bert and Karl Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jewell Vana, 2 grand children, 2 sisters and 7 brothers. She is survived by daughter, Louise McCrary of Waco; sons, Daniel and Tony of Waco, and Kenneth of Ogelsby, TX; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Currie and Melvin, of Waco.
