Maxine Laverne Medlin

Maxine Laverne Medlin August 21, 1925 – February 12, 2017 Maxine Laverne Medlin, 91, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, at Waco Memorial Park. Maxine was born on August 21, 1925, in Florence, Texas, to Rosa Del and Samuel Jackson McIntosh. She enjoyed singing, playing volleyball, 42 (dominos), and watching the University of Texas and University of Alabama football games. She loved gardening and was fond of animals of all kinds. One of her fondest memories was traveling throughout Europe. She was a member of the Sun Valley Blvd. Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Eugene Medlin; and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Colin James Windham and wife, Brenda, of Alabama, and Harry Windham and wife, Ann, of Houston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
