Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 8 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Megan was born April 17, 1999, in Waco and baptized into the Lutheran faith at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Megan was confirmed on September 7, 2013, and shared in the love, hope and peace of her Savior. Megan was raised by her loving family, truly a village of selfless, hardworking people, who would do anything for her. They were her world and she was theirs. Megan was a proud sister to her little brother, Gavin, and his constant companion, along with her pets Angel, Camo, Snuggles, Tazzi and Sonny. Abbi Witcosky was like a sister to Megan and shared her interest in arts and crafts, venturing to sell some of their creations to raise money for Dell Children’s Hospital. Megan could do just about anything with colorful duct tape, glitter and glue! Megan also enjoyed karaoke singing whenever she could. Megan empathized with other children at Dell Children's Hospital and joyfully donated her collection of stuffed animals to comfort them. Megan proudly received a "Make-A-Wish" trip to see the "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro in his bakery. He generously provided Megan's 17th birthday party cake after she visited his new bakery’s grand opening in Dallas. Megan was preceded in death by great grandparents, Helen (Boo) Shelton, William (Bill) Owen, Gwendolyn (Sisty) Michulka and Sarah Sartor; great aunts, Joyce Shelton and Teresa Shelton; and uncle Grady Sartor. Left to cherish memories of Megan are her parents, Melissa and Randy Michulka of Waco, Shawn and Elsa Sartor of San Saba; brothers, Gavin Michulka and Tegan Sartor; and step siblings, Tommy and Victoria Golindo; grandparents, Kay and Gene Owen of Waco, and David and Sherry Michulka of Franklin, Texas; and great grandpa, Raymond Shelton, Sr., of Waco. Megan is also survived by extended family, including aunts and uncles: Kevin and Cindy Owen, Chris Owen, Shelley Michulka, and Aaron Michulka; cousins: Jennifer and Keith Price, Jeremy Worley, Dani Owen, Hunter and Hailey Strickland, Akira Michulka and many, many more. KeKe loves Megan more! Pallbearers are Jeremy Worley, Keith Price, Hunter Strickland, Johnathan Saldana and Nick Shelton. Honorary Pallbearer is Gavin Michulka.
