Micah Faith Bankhead passed away on June 18, 2022, at Providence Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds and was 19.5 inches long. Micah Faith stayed with us for nearly an hour, and she is now in the arms of her loving Savior. We are grateful for the time, as brief as it was, that we were blessed to have with her. We do not have the words to explain what a gift it was to be with her or how holy those brief moments were for us to celebrate her short life while we could. She was held and hugged by her family, prayed over, and rocked. We shared all we wished we could have given her and reminded her that we would be with her again someday in heaven. Services will be held at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Wednesday, June 22, at 2:00 p.m. with Drew Greenway officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30. Survivors include her mother, Jennifer Bankhead; her father, Michael Bankhead; her brothers, Ian Bankhead and Ezra Bankhead; her sister, Samantha Bankhead; her grandparents, Carol and Bill Neilson, and Cissy and Jim Bankhead; and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
