BREEN, MICHAEL ROBERT Michael Robert Breen, 54, of Woodway died Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at his home. The family invites you to a celebration of his life Friday, January 23, 2004 at the Carleen Bright Arboretum from 6-9pm. Services will be held at 3:30pm Saturday, January 24 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Burial will be held at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Mr. Breen was born November 2, 1949 to the late Bob and Noreen Breen in Chicago, Illinois. He was a graduate of Northern Illinois University and was a licensed CPA. He enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, golf and music. He had a great sense of humor and had the ability to create a gourmet meal with next to nothing. Mike held executive positions with Kimberly-Clark, Spenco Medical, Remec-Wacom, Time Warner Cable and most recently completed his course work for a real estate license. He was a member of AICPA and served on the advisory board of Mary-Hardin Baylor College. Mike met Patricia Anne Breen at Spenco Medical Corporation and they were married on June 26, 1993 in Waco, Texas. They celebrated 10 years of marriage and remained close friends until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Chris. He is survived by his friend and former wife, Patricia Breen of Waco, daughter, Courtney Breen, son, Kevin Breen, brother, Danny Breen and wife, Sandy, niece, Shannon Breen, sister, Ellen Breen and step-mom, Mary Breen all of Elmhurst, Illinois. He leaves behind his extended family who cared for him greatly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carleen Bright Arboretum in Woodway, Texas.
