Michael Wayne Bearden July 17, 1959 - November 18, 2015 Michael Wayne “Pun” Bearden, 56, of Waco, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. His Memorial Service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Bro. Craig Garland officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Michael was born July 17, 1959, in Waco, Texas, to Bill and Joann Bearden. He attended Richfield High School, class of 1977. Mike was employed by Running Rainbow floral supply, where he loved traveling throughout Texas and meeting new people. “Pun” was a great husband, wonderful father and an amazing grandfather who thoroughly enjoyed all Baylor University athletics. An avid fan of the Bears, Mike never missed a chance to tailgate and attend the football games with his friends and family. Most importantly he loved spending all of his free time surrounded by his family and friends while Bar-B-Queing every Sunday. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Teri Bearden; three sons, Jason Bearden and wife, April, Josh Bearden and wife, Lindsey, and Justin Bearden; two daughters, Stacy Walton and husband, Erik and Jordan Bearden; six grandchildren, Ashtyn and Lyndi Young, Camden Bearden, Brady and Callen Walton, Aiden Bearden, Arianna Beccera, and one on the way, baby Madi; his sister, Kim Hooge and husband, Paul; as well as his extended family.
