Mildred "Millie" Guthrie August 3, 1922 - February 11, 2008 Millie Guthrie of Ft. Worth passed away Monday, February 11, 2008. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor Laird Duran officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 Wednesday, February 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Millie was born August 3, 1922 in Waco, Texas to Hugo and Helen Becker. She worked with Management Service for Doctors in Waco for 30 years. Millie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ft. Worth and a member of the Waco Quilter's Guild. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 56 years, Duane D. Guthrie. She is survived by her daughter, Arlis Knowles of Fort Worth; and son, Robert R. Guthrie and wife, Catherine of Houston; granddaughters. Karen Knowles Roberson and husband, Trey of Tatum, TX; Alice Knowles Hausherr and husband, Bill of Vancouver, WA; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
