Mildred I. Pyle December 10, 1919 - July 5, 2012 Mildred I. Pyle of Waco passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at her residence. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, July 9, at Waco Memorial Park with Chaplain Leanne Ryan officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mildred was born December 10, 1919 in Waco, Texas to Warren and Flora Hatch Jeanes. She graduated from Waco High in 1938 and attended 4-C Business College. She married James C. Pyle on February 14, 1942. She and her husband owned and operated Jay Cee's Food Stores from 1950-1989. Mildred participated in Meals on Wheels for five years and was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 68 years, James C. Pyle. She is survived by her son, James C. Pyle II; and grandson, James C. Pyle III and wife, Lauri, and Christian Pyle.
