MILDRED LYNCH Mildred Lucille Lynch, 83, of Waco died Saturday, December 01, 2001 in a local nursing home. Services will be 1:30pm, Tuesday, December 4th at WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Dr. Randy Hughes and Rev. Bill Agee officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, December 3rd at the funeral home. Mrs. Lynch was born January 15, 1918 in Lorena to Cowan Clinton & Ruby Guderian Honeycutt. She was raised in the Waco area where she met Otto Joseph Lynch. They were married on April 8, 1944 in Falls County. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for almost 60 years where she taught children’s Sunday School and worked in the church library. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wonderful grandmother and a friend to all who needed her. She had a special place in her heart for children & for the elderly. She will also be remembered by family and friends as a faithful Christian who loved the Lord above all else. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband in 1975, sisters Eva Dagley & Juanita Malone and her brother Carl Honeycutt. Survivors include son, Sheriff Larry Lynch & wife Frances of Waco; daughters, Linda Lynch Martin & husband Don of Waco, Diane Lynch Herrington & husband Ronnie of Austin; 6 grandchildren, Lisa Damelio & husband Brian, Jennifer Rountree & husband Ross, Joseph Clinton Lynch, Stephanie Martin, Christa Herrington & Bailey Herrington; 3 great grandchildren, Ashley Beaman, Tyler Beaman and Olivia Rountree. Pallbearers: Joseph Clinton Lynch, Thom Guderian, James L. Nelson, Gary Herbert, Billie Mills, & Dale Sanders. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Emmanuel Baptist Church.
