OBITUARY FOR MINA MAE THOMSON Mina Mae Thomson, 82, of Waco, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2001. ''To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord''. Services will be 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington, with family and friends conducting the service. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Thomson was born May 22, 1919 in Waco, Texas to Howell D. and Maudie M. Crisler. She graduated from Waco High School in 1937. She married Cecil F. Si Thomson on October 9, 1944 and resided in Waco. She began working at National City Bank in 1945 and retired after 36 years of service. She was named Huaco Woman of the Year in 1966. She enjoyed traveling, modeling, ceramic crafts, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Si Thomson, and two sisters-in-law, Phyllis L. Crisler and Nora Pearl Crisler. Survivors: Brothers: Roy C. Crisler of Corpus Christi and Ross B Crisler of Desoto. Nieces & Nephews: Rhonda and Richard Sperry of Spokane, WA Vicki L. Crisler of Tuscon, AZ, Gary & Betty Crisler Denison, Sharon and Brad West of Grand Prairie, Mina and Gary Dyess of Copperas Cove, and David and Penny Crisler of Desoto Many Great and Great Great Nieces & Nephews Pallbearers: Jeff Zabriskie, Curtis Holze, Brad West, Gary Dyess, David Crisler and Gary Crisler She lived her life with elegance, class and love for her beloved family and friends.
