Minnie Herring Cole

COLE, MINNIE HERRING Minnie Herring Cole, age 73, of Woodway died Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, May 10 at Lake Shore Baptist Church, 5801 Bishop Dr. Services are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Cole was born March 14, 1929 in Dodd City, Texas to Charles and Pearl Barnes. She grew up in Fannin County and was educated there, graduating from Bonham High School in 1945. She attended Paris Junior College, graduating in 1947. She moved to Waco in 1949 and attended Baylor University. She married Amos A. Priddy in 1948. They were divorced in 1965. In 1967 she married Gail Herring, he preceded her in death in 1988. She married Richard D. Cole in 1995 in Waco. She was a charter member of Lake Shore Baptist Church, where she served as deacon and Sunday school teacher. Minnie touched the hearts and souls of everyone, who had the opportunity to know her. Her life will continue to be an inspiration to us all. Survivors include husband, Richard D. Cole of Woodway; daughters, Carolyn Ann Priddy Plaa of Waco and Marilee Priddy and husband, Joe Hatcher of Austin; stepdaughters, Melanie Herring Laminack of Corpus Christi, Lori Herring Thomas and husband, Rodney of Goldthwaite, Karin Cole Bieber and husband, Michael of Dallas, and Laura Cole Foreman of Sumner, Washington; stepsons, Neal Herring and wife, Heidi of Gretna, Nebraska, Brian H. Cole and wife, Cherie of Los Angeles, California, and David W. Cole of Lubbock; grandchildren, Christy and Katy Plaa, Luke Guyton, Dustin, Logan and Riley Herring, Daniel Laminack and Nina Graves, Andrew, Danielle and Britton Cole and Nick and Chloe Foreman; and four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Shore Baptist Church, Providence Hospice, Planned Parenthood, The Widows’ Friend, P.O.
