Moises H. Puente, Sr.

PUENTE, SR., MOISES H. Moises H. Puente, Sr., age 73 of Waco died Monday, April 12, 2004 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1pm Saturday, April 17 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Rev. Sergio Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7pm Friday, April 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Deacon Tony Arocha officiating with visitation before and after the rosary. Mr. Puente was born in Waco September 4, 1930 and attended Waco schools. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He then worked for the Veterans Administration and retired from there also. Mr. and Mrs. Puente attended St. Francis Church. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and dancing. Mr. Puente is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Ernestine; son, Moises H. Puente, Jr. and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Melissa Meetze of Japan, Shawn Puente of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Monique Casarez and Mariah Puente both of Waco; great grandchildren, Anita, Shawn Luis, Michael Anthony, Katlin, Ashley, Victoria, and Elena; sisters, Eva Lopez and Herlinda Amaro both of Waco; brothers, Adam Bridge of Washington State, and Randolph Puente and Ruben Puente both of Waco.
