Morris Marcus September 15, 1918 - August 10, 2013 Morris Marcus of Waco passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery in Ft. Worth. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, at Congregation Agudath Jacob in Waco, with the Rabbi Gordon Fuller officiating. Morris was born September 15, 1918, in Cleburne, Texas, to Max and Nettie Marcus. He worked on the Ratings Board at the Veterans Administration. Morris was a member of the Agudath Jacob Synagogue in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margie Roach Marcus; and one sister, Ada Marcus Edelman. He is survived by one niece, who was like a daughter, Nancy Edelman of Houston; two step-daughters, Debbie Lunn and husband, Jerry, of Lake Conroe, Texas, and Jan Norman and husband, Nick, of Arlington, Texas; two grandchildren Alexandra Allie Norman of Houston and Jeremy Lunn and wife, Erica, of Spring, Texas.
