RIDLING, MRS. CHARLES A. Mrs. Charles A. Ridling, age 99, of Waco died Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10am Saturday, April 5 at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. Nathan Porter of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, April 4 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Ridling was born August 24, 1903 in Waco to Charlie Augustus and Lillie Mae Warren Meroney. She attended local schools and Baylor University. During WWII she worked in Washington D. C. for the Civil Service. She was a longtime salesperson in ladies cosmetics. She was married to Clarence A. Ridling, he preceded her in death August 25, 1982, she was also preceded by her parents, two brothers and one sister. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
