WAITE, MRS. HAROLD YVETA Mrs. Harold Yveta Waite, age 84, passed away Monday, November 3, 2003 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 1pm Thursday, November 6 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Janne Alro Osborne officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7pm Wednesday, November 5 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Waite, “Y”, was the co-founder of Harold Waite’s Pancake and Steak House in 1961. This Waco restaurant remains a mainstay for many Waco families and business people. Mrs. Waite is survived by sons, Harold Waite, Jr. and wife, Karen of Houston and Tracy Waite and wife, Debbie of Waco, grandchildren, Lindsay Marie Waite, Nicole Harsha, and Brant Waite and many other relatives. Yveta leaves behind countless friends who will miss her quick wit and positive attitude towards life.
