BILBROW, MRS. JOHN Mrs. John Eula Bilbrow, age 97, of Waco, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at a Corsicana nursing home. Services will be held at 9:30am Saturday, March 23 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. with Brother Bill Honea officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Friday, March 22 at the funeral home. Mrs. Bilbrow was born to John and Emmer Wheeler on November 22, 1904 in Barton, Arkansas. She married John Bilbrow in Hollis, Oklahoma in 1934. They moved to Waco in 1940. Her husband died on June 19, 1963. Mrs. Bilbrow worked as a saleslady for Franklin Department Store. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and then attended Calvary Assembly of God Church for several years before moving to Corsicana eight years ago. Mrs. Bilbrow was a very active volunteer in her community and was a member of the following organizations: American Legion Posts 121 and 440 past president of both, Rebecca Chapter 16, R. S. V. P. Retired Senior Volunteer Program, YWCA Senior Adult Independent Membership, Elks Club Lodge #166, Elks Lodge – PBO #43, The Home League Retired Volunteers of the Salvation Army, and The Kate Ross center for Senior Citizens. Survivors include her nieces, Lucille Bass of Chandler and Annie Mae Richards of Corsicana; nephew, Lessie Richards of Corsicana; Great nephew, Ervin Richards of Corsicana and a many other great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dennis, Ervin, James and Randy Richards. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
