Myra Warren Tindell

TINDELL, MYRA Myra Warren Tindell, 86, of Lorena died Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Friday, September 20, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Buddy Sipe officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, September 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Tindell was born August 7, 1916 in the Lorena area. She attended public schools in Lorena. She married Frank Wesley Tindell January 17, 1934 in Waco. He preceded her in death in 1978. She worked as a sales clerk at Hancock Fabrics. Mrs. Tindell was a member of Lorena United Methodist Church and a charter member of Central Texas Doll Club. She was an accomplished artist, seamstress and cook. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tommy Crump and two sisters and five brothers. Survivors include daughters, Dathene Crump of Waco; Martha Tindell Norcross and husband Merle of Lorena; Edith A. Meader and husband Bobby of Lorena; sons Norman W. Pete Tindell and wife Gwen of Lorena and David P. Tindell and wife Stella of Wells, Texas; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister Vera Maude Lundy of Waco and brothers Joe Warren of Waco and James Sonny of Lorena.
