POLK, ALENE Alene Polk, 90, of Waco died Thursday, August 22, 2002. Graveside services will be held at 10am Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, August 23 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Polk was born in Alabama and grew up in Mart, Texas. She married Steve Polk April 16, 1930, he preceded her in death in 1980. She was a homemaker and member of North Waco Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Geraldine Hayen and husband, Floyd of Hurst, grandchildren, James Russell Hayen and wife, Lesa of Fort Worth and John Randell Hayen and wife, Cherryl of Hurst, great grandchildren, Amanda, Alexis and Clay Hayen, sister-in-law, Louise Anderton of Waco and numerous nieces and nephews.
