Myrtle Agnes Burnsed, a devout Christian, 82, of Hewitt, TX passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 22, 2017 at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home, in Hillsboro, TX, while in the care of Providence Hospice, following a ten year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. A graveside celebration of her life will be conducted at Waco Memorial Park at 10 A. M. on Friday, August 25, 2017. Myrtle Agnes was born the youngest of seven children on September 8, 1934 in Granby, Missouri, to parents, Albert Deems and Myrtle Agnes (Gibson) Deems. She attended Baylor University’s nursing program in the 1950’s and worked as a nurse in the Waco area for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, as well as her husband, George T. Burnsed, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Debora Copeland, of Gulfport, MS; her son, Dale Snyder, Jr and wife Cathy, of Hillsboro, TX; grandchildren Katie Arriola and fiancé, Cody Newman, and great-grandsons Dakota, Austin, and Denton of China Spring, TX; Christie Pilant and husband, Gary, and great-grandchildren Sophia and Ethan, of Robinson, TX; Zach Terry of China Spring, TX; Brittany Brown and husband, Cody, of Woodway, TX; Dani Wilson and husband, Zack, and great-grandchildren Haden and Mikayla of China Spring, TX; Olivia Suter and husband, Anthony of Waco, TX; Braden Snyder of Waco, TX; Breanne Snyder and great-grandson Kaysen of Hillsboro, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to Providence Hospice.
