OBITUARY FOR MRS NADINE HOBBS BALDWIN Mrs. Nadine Hobbs Baldwin, 88, of Waco, died October 8, 2001 in a Humble Nursing Home. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 11, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 1124 Washington, with Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Graveside services at 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Clairette Cemetery, Clairette, Tx , near Stephenville. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Baldwin was born May 12, 1913 in Rice, Texas to Sebron Limuel and Rosa Vallie May Hobbs. She was a school teacher in the WISD schools for many years where she served on many local and state committees in the field of education . She was also very involved with many community and civic boards and committees including Stillwell Retired Teachers Assoc, Joyce Stamps Childcare Center, Y.W.C.A., Downtown Waco, Inc.. She was known for her interest in the Waco City Government where she attended all open meetings of the City Council every Tuesday. She received many honors and awards from the District XII Texas State Teachers Association, Waco Class- room Teachers and Texas Educators Political Action Committee. She is survived by her sons, Don Baldwin & wife Pat of Kingwood and Reg A Baldwin & wife Janette of Carrollton; grandson, Austin Baldwin Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity or Caritas.
