O’CONNOR, MRS. NANCY ROHAN Mrs. Nancy Rohan O’Connor, age 71, of Waco died Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at her residence. Services will be 9:30 AM Saturday, June 30th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with The Rev. Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, June 29th at the funeral home. Mrs. O’Connor was born in Fort Worth, January 26, 1930 and was lovingly adopted by George and Louise Rohan. She was a 1948 graduate of Waco High School and attended Christian College, Columbia, MO and Baylor University. She married Glidden O’Connor October 27, 1951 in Waco. She did volunteer work for the American Cancer Society, Lighthouse for the Blind and Junior League. She was a homemaker and loved her family and friends. Survivors include: Husband: Glidden O’Connor of Waco Daughters: Kelly McKinzie of The Colony Kathleen O’Connor of Waco Son: George O’Connor and his wife, Sherry of Midland Grandchildren: Amber O’Connor, Flynn O’Connor, Caitlin O’Connor, Meggan McKinzie, and Hayley McKinzie Mother-in-law: Alma O'Connor of Houston A family friend: Loretta Welch Pallbearers will be Jim Gresham, Vachel Cotharn, Nick Klaras, Harry Miller, Jack Miller, Jack Tompkins, Tom Watson, and Jack Scheddel.
