Nannie Lou Fenske October 6, 1913 - February 17, 2012 Nannie Lou Fenske, 98, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at Ridgecrest Retirement and Health Care. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 22, at St. Mark Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Price officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Tuesday, February 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Nannie was born October 6, 1913 in Waco, Texas to Lou Venia and M.C. Foster. She married Erwin E. Fenske on June 14, 1947, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1971. She worked at Goldstein-Migel, Watkins Furniture and Harlik's Man Shop. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters, Annie Mae Warren, Cecelia Tackett, Irene Tucker and Sara Alice Foster. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was an inspiration and joy to all her family and friends. Pallbearers will be M.J. & James Whitehead, Terry and Tim Casper, Raymond Schmedthorst and Joey White-Swift. Honorary pallbearers are Walter Becker, Billy Gann and R.O. Schroeder. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Ridgecrest and Bluebonnet Hospice.
