NATALIE PATTERSON July 29. 1926-December 23, 2005 Natalie Patterson passed from this life on Friday, December 23, 2005. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, December 26 in the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. She was born Natalie Norton in Denver, Missouri on July 29, 1926. She moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1944 to work at Kelly Field in the war effort. She married John Patterson on March 1, 1947. After years of raising a family, she re-entered the work force and retired from the State of Texas. In 1993 Natalie and John moved to Waco to be closer to family. Natalie was a life-long Methodist and truly enjoyed her Bible studies. She loved reading, music, politics and critiquing the news media; but most of all she loved her family. Natalie was an incredible mother and wife who gave everything for her family and rarely thought of herself. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John, her parents, and her sister, Alpha. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Patterson and Vicky Cohen; her son-in-law Larry Cohen; three brothers, Justin Norton, Arthur Norton, and Luther Norton, all of Missouri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is irreplaceable and will be missed, but is now in heaven with her Lord. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our “Memorial Guestbook” at www.wilkirsonhatchbailey.com
