Nelta Faye Smith Mitchell February 2, 1943 - October 7, 2014 Nelta Faye Smith Mitchell of Mart passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Windsor Health Care. Memorial Services will be at 4:00 Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Weaver officiating. Nelta was born February 2, 1943 in Blue, Oklahoma to Alfred Weaver and Clydie Webb Weaver. She was a loving and family-oriented mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Hoy Smith; four brothers, Thomas, Douglas, Preston, and Wayne Weaver; and one sister, Laverne Jentoft. She is survived by four brothers, Houston of Mart, Kenneth and wife, Jackie, of Covington, Louisana, David and wife, Ophelia, of Mart and Jackie and wife, Karen, of Waco; one sister, Lee Guidry and husband, Ray, of Colonial Heights, Virginia; two sons, Thomas and wife, Stacey, of Port Orchard, Washington, and Teddy Smith of Mart; five grandsons, Jesse, Jeremie, Cory, Chance and Garrett Smith; and seven great-grandchildren.
