Nettie Woodall Davis

Nettie Woodall Davis, age 85, of Waco died Friday, February 20, 2004 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at Waco Memorial Park North with Rev. Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Nettie was born August 15, 1918 in Waco to Robert and Lorene Leatherwood Woodall. She attended local schools. She married H.B.“Stinky” Davis, June 10, 1938. She worked in retail sales most of her life as a clerk. She loved working with people, joking around and laughing in general. She was a Catholic and a past member of the Longhorn Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Marie Green and niece, Jeanie Clay. Survivors include brother in law, Alvin Green of McKinney, Texas; niece, Annette Powell and husband John Sr. of Princeton, Texas; great nephews, John Powell Jr, and Nicole of McKinney, Texas, Benny Clay of Princeton, Texas; great nieces, Christie-Marie Powell of McKinney, Texas, Lisa McCurdy and husband David of McKinney, Texas; special friends, Tommy Wiley, Elizabeth Bowling, Margaret Johnson.
