Noble Edward Barbee

BARBEE, NOBLE Noble Edward Barbee, age 84, of Waco formerly of Temple, died Sunday, March 31, 2002 at a Waco hospital. Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, April 3 at Bethel Assembly of God with Rev. Elwyn Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Seaton National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas. Mr. Barbee was born August 1, 1917 in Purves, Texas in Erath County, he married Rose Chudej February 18, 1939. He had been a Waco and Central Texas contractor since 1952. He had served in an official capacity in the Assembly of God churches in Waco and McGregor and was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Temple. Four sisters preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Rose Barbee; daughters, Sharon Young and husband, Bobby and Yvonne Pompa and husband, Roy; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Wyatt, Brad Young, Dusty Hodge, Rick Keyson, Ron Keyson, and Jerry Wayne Chudej. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons or charity of choice.
