Nora Mae England May 11, 1924 - April 15, 2011 Nora Mae Sommerfeld England, of Waco, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 in Kilgore. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Harold Vincent officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday, April 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, prior to the graveside service. Nora was born May 11, 1924 in Riesel, Texas, to Herbert and Selma Sommerfeld. In 1943, she met and married Jean F. England, while he was stationed at Moore Field in Mission, Texas. They were married for 54 years, upon his death in 1997. She is survived by daughter, Judith Corwin, of San Antonio and daughter, Jennifer Ivey or Longview, Texas. She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Wesley Sommerfeld and wife, Evelyn. Nora also leaves four grandchildren, Laura Corwin Talley and husband, Chris, of San Antonio, Jason England Ivey and wife, Jeretta, of Kilgore, Chad Ivey and Brooke Ivey, both of Longview; and four great-grandchildren.
