Norma Lydia Paulsen

Norma Paulsen January 29, 1921 – April 20, 2006 Norma Lydia Paulsen, 85, a longtime resident of Waco, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006 in Granbury, Texas. Services will be at 11: 00 am Saturday, April 22 at St. Mark Lutheran Church Waco with Rev. Lewis Wunderlich officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Norma was born January 29, 1921 to Otto and Freida Bielefeldt in Malone, Texas. She was baptized February 27, 1921 and confirmed April 13, 1935 at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. She married Martin Fred Paulsen March 17, 1946 in Malone and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She loved her garden, flowers and providing wonderful meals for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Norma is survived by her husband, Martin of Granbury; two sons, Paul Paulsen and wife, Charlcye of Austin and Larry Paulsen and wife, Barbara of Granbury; two granddaughters, Lori Griffin and husband, Tim of Austin and Leigh Haley and husband, Brandon of Euless; two grandsons, Chris Paulsen and wife, Lauren of Dallas and Ben Paulsen of Cyrpess; two great-grandsons, Camron Haley of Euless and Charlie Griffin of Austin; two brothers, Otto Bielefeldt and wife, Virginia of Desota and Melvin Bielefeldt and wife, Shirley of Garland; one sister, Lillie Furlong and husband, Roger of Longview and sister-in-law, Edyth Bielefeldt of Boston, MA.
