Norman K. Greer August 7, 1911 - September 25, 2009 Norman Kenneth Greer of Waco passed away Friday, September 25, 2009. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 28, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Jim Millsaps officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum. Kenneth was born August 7, 1911, in Eddy, Texas, to Norman K. and Elizabeth Morton Greer. He began his career in Waco with Wm. Cameron Lumber Company and then spent many years with National Cash Register Co., retiring as branch manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Rotarian. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rowena Jennings Greer; his daughter, Kay Greer O'Reilly; and brother, Thomas Greer. He is survived by his daughter, Carol G. Mann; grandson, Christopher O'Reilly and wife, Monica; two great grandchildren, Kayla and Justin O'Reilly; sister, Margaret G. Evans; nieces, Ann Kidd and husband, Lee; Eleanor Drake, and Elizabeth Pennington and husband, Col. Lawrence Pennington; nephews, Thomas Greer, Jr. and wife, Liff and Dr. Walter P. Evans III and wife, Laurie. Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home or charity of choice.
