Norman Frank Tate, III October 10, 1948 May 28, 2008 Norman Frank Tate, III of Seguin, Texas died Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, June 2, 2008 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Robert G. Tate officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 1 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home. Frank Tate, III was born October 10, 1948, in Waco to Norman F. Tate and Frances Lou Fields Tate. He was baptized as an infant by Dr. Norman Evans at Austin Avenue United Methodist Church and he attended Lorena United Methodist Church during his youth. He graduated from Lorena High School where he participated in sports and music. He attended McLennan Community College and North Texas University. He joined the Marine Corps and volunteered to serve in Vietnam. He loved his country and was proud to serve. He is survived by his mother, Frances L. Tate; one brother, Robert Glenn Tate and wife, Darlene; five children: Jonathan and wife, Tanya; Christopher, Jeremy, Elena, Caitlin; and two grandchildren, McKayla and Owen; nephews and nieces: Jason Tate and his daughter, Savanna; and Caleb Tate and niece, Rebekah.
