KENNEDY, OLGA CONCILIO Olga Concilio Kennedy, age 91, of Waco died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 3:30pm Friday, March 12 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Mark Nygard officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Kennedy was a recent resident of Jeffrey Place Healthcare. She was an outstanding mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and kept the family circle together with love, devotion and her famous “green cookies”. She could always be found in the kitchen baking or preparing a meal for whoever might drop by. If you were hungry or just wanted to talk, you knew where to go. From the moment anyone entered her house, they were surrounded by the smell of food cooking, laughter and love. No one ever left hungry but all left with a smile on their face. Everyone called her “Mom;” so, from everyone, “Thanks Mom for everything. You will be missed.” She is survived by her daughter, Betty Evans and husband Ronnie of Pearland; son, Michael Kennedy and wife, Adele of Rock Hill, South Carolina; grandkids, Dan Bryant and wife, Paula; Carl Bryant and wife, Cathy; Mike Bryant and wife, Stephanie; Brad Bryant and wife, Michelle; Ellen Brightwell and husband, Tom and David Kennedy; 14 great grandkids, one great, great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Marguerite McNamee, now living in the Woodlands, recently deceased brother-in-law, L.V. McNamee, her devoted cousin, Camille Smith and many other cousins, including Doris Concilio. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dan Bryant, Carl Bryant, Mike Bryant, Brad Bryant and her great grandsons, Bobby Bryant and Matthew Bryant. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
