URBAN, OLGA Olga Marie Urban, 94, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2004 at St. Catherine Center, Providence Park. Services will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, October 27, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Visitation with the family will be 5:30 – 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Urban was born April 9, 1910, to John and Mary Losak in Waco. Her parents immigrated to Texas in 1909 from Czechoslovakia. She lived in Waco all of her 94 years. She attended Waco schools and Toby’s Business College and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. Olga M. Losak and John A. Urban were married in Waco, December 5, 1929. Mr. Urban was market manager/meat buyer for Piggly Wiggly Stores in Waco and Temple. Mrs. Urban was employed by Waco Art Glass Company from 1927-1933 as a secretary/bookkeeper. The rest of her life was spent as a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Urban in 1990; parents, John and Mary Losak; brothers, John R. Losak, Lewis Losak, Edwin Losak; sister, Mary Crook and son-in-law Jack C. Davis in 1979. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy A.UrbanThomas and son-in-law Dwight L. Thomas of Marlin, Mary Margaret Urban Davis and special friend Ed Baer of Ft.Worth; grandson, Gary Michael Davis of Clear Lake; granddaughter, Melanie Denise Davis and Coebe of Torrance, CA; sister, Mildred Beard of Port Arthur; cousin, Frank Losak of Bellmead; sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Losak of Waco and a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank special caregivers for their loving care of Mrs. Urban; Virginia Jeffery, Doris Davison, Ola L. Tillman and Ruby Wilkerson. Also special thanks to Pat Helberg for her early care of Mrs. Urban, to Robert Bravo, a special neighbor and Donna McCune, Friends for Life. SHE SEES ME THROUGH MY HOUR OF NEED WHEN ALL HOPES DEPART, SHE’S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN RESTORE FAITH TO MY BROKEN HEART NOW SHE’S GROWN OLD IN YEARS BUT SHE’S LOVELIER THAN ANY OTHER SHE HAS A LOVELINESS I CAN’T DESCRIBE BECAUSE SHE IS MY MOTHER WHEN THE DAY OF PARTING COMES AND FROM GRIEF I’LL HAVE TO SUFFER GOD WILL WELCOME THE SWEETEST ANGEL, HE WILL HAVE MY MOTHER.
