Oliver "Cotton" Blume August 3, 1930 - July 8, 2015 Oliver Blume of Robinson passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Providence Hospice Place. Graveside Services will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 11, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel. Oliver Cotton was born August 3, 1930, in Waco, Texas, to Oliver Sr. and Bertha Blume. He attended Texas A&M and Baylor University and served as a Major in the United States Air Force. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and in his later years, he was committed to a newspaper ministry, The Path to Everlasting Life, published across the United States. He received many letters asking for literature about how to have everlasting life. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one sister, Virginia Wuebker of Robinson, Texas; two nieces, Robin Battershell and husband, Brian, and Bonnie Wuebker; one nephew, Cardinal Wuebker and wife, Frances.
