Orville Wade Adams was born January 3, 1952, in Electra, Texas, to the late L. W. “Buddy” and Clara Bell Neff Adams. While serving in the Air Force, Orville met his future wife, Pranorm “Lek,” in Thailand and moved to Texas after they married. In addition to helping raise their three daughters, Orville worked as an aircraft mechanic, retiring from RAM Aircraft in 2016. He enjoyed spending time playing table tennis with his team, perfecting his famous “pirouette” maneuver. He also loved talking about, repairing, and looking for old Mopar cars with his brothers, Doyle and Harley. He entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. His legacy of love includes Lek, his wife of 48 years; his three daughters, Pun and husband, Adam Mihok, of Weatherford, Wanda and husband, Paul Howell, of China Spring, and Molly and husband, Kevin Barker, of Austin; as well as brothers, Doyle Adams and wife, Alma, of Russellville, Arkansas, Harley Adams and wife, Marla, of Bruceville-Eddy, and the late David Adams and wife, Kim, of Tupelo, Mississippi; sisters, Janelle and husband, Jeff Paul, of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Madlyon and husband, Paul Opperman, of Temple; in addition to his three grandchildren, Taylor, Clara Belle, and Luke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
