PYLES, OSCAR Oscar F. Pyles, 87 of Waco, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, December 29 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-9pm Tuesday, December 28 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mr. Pyles was born September 21, 1917 in Waco to Oscar Kennedy Pyles and Eleanor Kirkpatrick Pyles. He attended Waco schools. He married Lucile Wolf in 1939, she died in 1968. He married Adah Scarborough; she died December 27, 1994. He was an electrician for 45 years. For 30 years he was owner of Oscar Pyles Electric Company. His work history included Baylor Moody Library, Texas Center, and Davis Iron Works of Hewitt. He was a member of Waco Lodge 92 A.F. & A.M. and Scottish Rite. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Waco. He was a very caring person. Survivors include stepdaughters, Golda Jean Fabbre and husband, Richard of Centerville, Virginia and Beth Haan and husband, Bruce of Jordanton, Texas; stepson, Gary L. Scarborough and wife, Sandra of Riesel; niece, Beverly Harding of Kennedale, Texas; sister-in-law, Estelle Pyles of Arlington, Texas; step grandchildren, Anita Battista, Brandi Meyers, Joe Fabbre, Jacob Fabbre, Michael Sartor, Travis Sartor, Kristen Hill, and Ivy Hill; and five great grandchildren.
